I hope you all had a good week last week, and I’m glad to be back (even though I miss the ocean and palm trees), it’s good to be home and back talking to you all 🙂
Since I’m not quite out of vacation mode as of yet, I figured I’d start this week’s post off with one of my favorite fish related activities that I did on my vacation! I went to the Ripley’s Aquarium. First off, I’d like to say that the aquarium itself was beautiful and brilliantly put together. They had a great selection of hands on activities such as touching the sting rays, horseshoe crabs and even jellyfish. They also had a live mermaid show and my favorite part- the dangerous reef, which consisted of traveling on a slow moving glide path through this very big and long acrylic tunnel. There you saw many “dangerous” species such as sharks and eels and also a sea turtle! So without further ado, here are some of my most favorite pictures of the trip to the aquarium. Hope you all have a great week and I’ll talk to you soon 🙂
These pictures were taken within the “Dangerous Reef” exhibit. This was where we went through the tunnel- fun fact: this was my first time in a tunnel aquarium!
Here is a view of some of the places within the aquarium, They had their own glass bottom boat tour above the shark exhibit!
And finally, here are some pictures of the cool and beautiful fish throughout the exhibit. The tank with the tangs and the rings was probably my favorite tank out of the whole exhibit. It was so simple, yet so stunning!
